International Students steps of enrolment

Domestic Students - steps of enrolment

Continuing Macquarie degree students will enrol online in their 2009 degree program between 12 - 23 January 2009

STUDENTS EXCLUDED FROM BCom-ACCG IN 2009

If you have been excluded from your degree because of 2 fails in a core unit, you can still be enrolled in summer units if you wish, but you will be enrolled on a non-award basis. This means that if you pass your summer units, you can ask for credit for them towards your new degree if you are permitted to transfer to another degree, or you can use them for credit later.

In order to be enrolled in summer units you must complete a Summer Application for Current Macquarie students, (PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR STUDENT NUMBER ON THE FORM) and submit it to the Centre for Open Education by 22 December. You can bring it to the Centre Level 1 Building X5B or fax it to 02 9850 7480 (612 9850 7480 internationally). You must provide credit card details if you are faxing the form, or pay in one of the ways outlined at http://www.ofs.mq.edu.au/student_finances/paying_fees.htm

STUDENTS EXCLUDED UNDER MINIMUM RATE OF PROGRESS RULES

If you have been excluded under the Minimum Rate of Progress Rule (MRP), you cannot be enrolled in a unit in the 2009 Summer Course Program under any circumstances. This is because you are excluded from study at the University in 2009, which covers all types of enrolment, including summer units. If you have enrolled in summer units before you were excluded, you have been withdrawn from your units.

If you appeal against your exclusion, the result of your appeal with not be known in time for summer enrolment.
