Summer Course Program 2010
General Program Information
Each year Macquarie University offers a number of selected units from its standard program in an intensive format, usually run over SIX weeks from early January to mid-February.
The Summer Course period in 2010 will run from 18 December 2009 to 12 February 2010. Repeating students are expected to commence their revision, and new students their preparation and preliminary reading work, from 18 December 2009. Most face-to-face classes will commence in the week starting Monday 4 January 2010, though some may commence earlier.
In 2010 the units are drawn from the Faculties of Business and Economics; Arts; and Science.
Full details about the units offered in 2010 including fees, prerequisites, waivers, timetables and examination dates will be available from October. Some of this information may change as the need arises, so please check your units regularly.
Most courses are not taught every day during that time, and some courses have limited or no on-campus instruction at all. Distance mode courses have compulsory on-campus sessions.
